Well, after a 2-year Covid induced hiatus we were back! Congratulations ,thanks and credit is due to Glenys , the Show team and our volunteers who have worked putting the show together all year - a key feature was the resurrection of the Black and White display from the last national show as many members had not seen it in the flesh at the time.

There was a great range of orchids exhibited and the presence of other clubs - Waikato, Howick and NZOS all had Table Displays as well as growers having displays meant we had every thing from cooler growing Calanthe, Lycaste ( not seen often enough these days imo!) and Pleione on the Waikato OS stand , thru to modern pot plant hybrids from Ninox Orchids, Leroy Orchids , and Tuckers Orchids as well as Philip and Dan Zhou of Sincere Asian Orchids with some intriguing Cymbidium species - all of whom were also in the sales hall. And Lito Teope one of the Club members also took a table for a display as well as taking the Grand Champion prize.

Grand Champion (Corban Cup) and Best Standard Hybrid Rehia Trophy, went to Lito for Phal. Sogo Yukidian as well as a few others awards...
